Pulse-Chat
A unified communication infrastructure for real-time chat, push notifications and audio/video calls across th1nkdev social and service-based applications.
Project Overview
Pulse-Chat is the communication backbone of the th1nkdev product ecosystem. It is designed as a backend-agnostic package β similar in philosophy to laravel/permissions β that can be installed into any existing backend and initialized via a single CLI command (npx pulsechat --init). This command handles migrations, socket configuration, notification routing, presence tracking and all communication infrastructure automatically. Pulse-Chat is compatible with multiple backend stacks: PHP (Laravel, Symfony), Node.js, Python (Django, FastAPI) and Go. It exposes a unified API and SDK that frontend applications can consume regardless of the underlying backend technology. The platform handles real-time chat, push notifications (web and mobile), audio/video calls (WebRTC), presence management and message delivery. It is especially strategic for products that depend on interaction between users, service providers, clients, workers, drivers or communities.
The Problem
01 / 03
Every social, marketplace or service-based application requires a communication layer. Without a shared infrastructure, each product has to rebuild chat, notifications, call systems, presence tracking and message delivery from scratch. This creates duplicated development effort, higher infrastructure costs, fragmented user experiences and stronger dependency on third-party services.
Our Solution
02 / 03
Pulse-Chat provides a backend-agnostic communication package that integrates into any existing stack via a simple CLI command. Running npx pulsechat --init sets up migrations, socket types, notification channels, presence management and the full communication infrastructure automatically. Frontend SDKs are available for web, React Native and Kotlin, making it easy to connect any client application to the Pulse-Chat layer.
Impact
03 / 03
Estimated strategic value: 110M β 220M XAF. Pulse-Chat creates direct technical and business synergies with several products in the ecosystem, including Djangui, E-Laborer, MotoDiGo and MediMap. It reduces development time, lowers recurring third-party service costs, improves user engagement and gives th1nkdev stronger control over critical communication features across the entire product portfolio.
